Tales of Garrett Koopa - For King and Koopa (2/2)

And so, Bowser and our young Koopa were able to trump the mighty Mario, with the power of team work.  Garrett Koopa has earned his place among the Koopa military's regional leaders, comparable to the Koopalings, and now looks up to his King now more than ever.  For they have both saved each other's lives.

UPDATE (2022):  I decided to revise the story a little, more specifically of Garrett's backstory.  During his mid teen years, he was a soldier of his local militia, even becoming one of its officers for his hometown.  The Koopalings took notice of this, and offered him a position in the Royal Koopa Army, even starting out as a Sergeant, with his prior experience in mind.  Five years later, having climbed to the rank of Lieutenant through combat and contributing to the engineering division for His Majesty's Army, he is granted an audience with King Bowser Koopa himself to determine if he is worthy of being promoted to commanding officer of a regional army.  Originally, he was going for Koopaling elites, but being an outsider to that line, it didn't sound very realistic in hindsight.
